Cafe Paradiso for web.jpeg

Cafe Paradiso

The original painting is titled "Cafe Paradiso" and is part of my series of mixed-media paintings, "The Capitol Hill I Remember." Each painting in this series depicts a beloved old Capitol Hill establishment that has since been replaced by higher end businesses in this rapidly changing neighborhood. Capitol Hill is a neighborhood in Seattle that has been drastically impacted by gentrification. Cafe Paradiso was at 1005 East Pike.

The original painting is 20" x 30" x 2.5". I created the original painting in 2017 using beeswax, oil paint, graphite, and salvaged materials: old maps, pieces of antique mail, sheet music, and other found and salvaged collage elements from my very cherished personal collection.

The original painting is currently available for sale for $1200; please contact me if interested.

Available for purchase: 8x10 Print ($20) 11x14 Print ($40)
